I began my writing career for the same reason I assume all writers do – someone told me I was good at it. I was in the fourth grade and everyone’s mom was making them take a summer creative writing course. I wrote a “short story” of about four loose-leaf pages which felt like a novel at the time and the writing teacher gave it first place and told me to keep writing. And like the people pleaser I am, I took that to heart. I saw her from time to time over the course of the next 15 years and each time I saw her I felt that same allegiance to the writing guild. Blessed with the divine ability to string together letters, words and sentences, I must keep writing.
Since then I have written blogs, short stories, poems and earned a degree in Public Relations and Journalism. I was an editor for The Setonian as an undergraduate at Seton Hall University. I started freelancing out of college and eventually wound up in the public relations field. I gained experience in a multitude of industries like biotech, IT services, fintech, food manufacturing, healthcare and more. (Evidence of this diversity is located in the writing sample section.)
My goal is to one day have an original idea for a novel, but until then I love to collaborate with people and companies on their business and marketing goals lending my skills to build enterprise. Send me a message and let’s connect!
